Publisher: Yen Press
Volumes: 4/4 (Complete)
Shounen
Genre: Fighting, Demons

Summary: Nanami was looking forward to finally being a high school student at the same high school as her crush, Sanjouin-sempai. But then out of nowhere, a young woman, Tomotaka appears and accuses her of being a demon! It soon is discovered she is human but has demonic abilities from her ancestors. She then gets swept away into a battle involving the Divine Enforcers (Demon Slayers), her ancestor’s servants, and an enemy group of Demons named after Tarot Cards! Some protect her while others try to take her powers for their own. Can she survive to figure out what’s going on?

Review: This is a fun Shounen manga that switches between moments of light comedy and the more serious side of the story. In an unusual twist for Shounen both of the main characters are high school girls and the most powerful. Nanami can only bring out her true powers when her other personality comes out. And Tomotaka is a genius young Enforcer. Meanwhile poor Sanjouin-sempai quickly gets demoted to a supporting character.

This series though, ended up being a real shame because it has no ending. It literally only needed one more volume minimum to finish up the final battle and explain the mysteries behind everything, but it doesn’t exist.

It’s frustrating because the world was actually pretty interesting. The Divine Enforcers are supposed to be the good guys, but it becomes apparent the organization has turned lawful evil. The Demons who want Nanami’s powers are just trying to save themselves from being killed by the Divine Enforcers. Between the magic divine articles and the varied demonic abilities, the fights stay pretty fresh and interesting, at least until it ends suddenly.

Recommended: It’s a decently good read but has no ending and likely never will. So don't bother if you mind incomplete series.

PG13: for mostly one brief scene of tentacle monster groping. And some underwear shots. Also some mild violence.
